Behind the stories: Q&A with John Fennec on ‘Artificial Artifacts’.

The themes explored in the book - from tech addiction, big tech corporate ethics, misinformation and deepfakes, to AI’s impact on jobs and the human condition - are far more topical and less speculative than the author would like them to be. He started writing in the summer of 2023, as AI rapidly shifted from a technological curiosity to the single most influential force in our world economy.

Q&A with Andri Nel

Andri Nel runs a digital publishing company called Digi-Taal and is completing her MA in Digital Publishing. Before coming to the UK she completed her undergraduate and honours degrees in Publishing at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and worked on numerous digital publishing projects with both authors and publishers. She is driven by a passion for publishing and the process behind creating books.
