Whitefox Publishing Launches Exciting Internship Programme with Creative Opps

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between Whitefox Publishing and Creative Opps, bringing an exciting paid internship opportunity to a young aspiring publishing creative in our local community.
Creative Opps CIO, established in 2020, is a charity dedicated to empowering young people who have faced socio-economic disadvantages. Building upon the work of Creative Opportunities CIC, Creative Opps has been supporting young Londoners since 2014, building on over a decade of experience in nurturing young talent.
Their mission resonates deeply with us at Whitefox, as we both share a commitment to creating equal opportunities and opening doors in the creative industries. As a publishing agency based in Islington, we’re particularly thrilled to partner with an organisation that has such strong roots in our local community.
Our joint three-month internship programme aims to level the playing field and demystify the publishing process for those who might otherwise face barriers to entry. We are delighted to be welcoming a Freelancer Community Outreach Intern to join our team in this inaugural role.
Over the last twelve years Whitefox has provided outsourced services to publishers as well as directly to brands, industry leaders and writers seeking to self-publish their books, giving them access to trusted publishing expertise. We work with the very best talent around the world, applying our years of industry experience and passion for books to every project we take on. Every project is a collaborative effort, which we could never accomplish without the support of our trusted network of freelancers.
Playing a key part in growing our varied pool of freelance experts, this position will allow our intern to participate in creative outreach, content development and creation, and community-building projects, providing a space for youth leadership and reflection, and imparting skills that can be applied in publishing and other fields.
This collaboration, due to start in September, marks an important step in our ongoing efforts to make publishing more accessible and inclusive, right here in Islington.
If you’re a young person looking for support or an organisation interested in partnering with Creative Opps, reach out to the team at [email protected].
