With over two decades of experience across the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, Alain is best known for his tenure as CEO of Majid Al Futtaim, where he led large-scale transformation and growth across multiple sectors. His work focuses on leadership, governance, innovation, and building resilient organizations in complex environments. He was named Gulf Business CEO of the Year in 2020 and ranked among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs in 2022.
Beyond his corporate career, Alain is active in global economic and policy discussions and is an investor and mentor to emerging entrepreneurs, including through his role on Shark Tank Lebanon.
