Announcing the launch of our second Mentorship Programme with LCC

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our second mentorship programme, in partnership with the London College of Communication (UAL) and Graduate Futures, set to begin this October. This programme offers a unique opportunity for professionals within the publishing and design industries to share their expertise and guide the next generation of talent.

Focused on supporting students interested in book cover design and editorial, the programme will pair up seven mentors and students for a six-month, one-to-one mentoring experience. Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry insights, helping mentees overcome skill gaps and entry-level barriers in the publishing world.

As part of the programme, mentors will have the chance to shape a bespoke, student-led learning journey, offering guidance and inspiration to young creatives eager to make their mark.

Finally, what makes this mentorship programme truly unique is its hands-on approach. In addition to one-to-one mentoring, Whitefox will offer mentees the chance to apply their newly acquired skills in real time by reimagining the Whitefox brochure. This initiative will mirror industry practices, allowing students to gain practical insight into executing a professional brief. Mentees will engage with every stage of the process, from concept planning to editorial, design and production.

We’re excited for the inspiring journey ahead as the programme begins – stay tuned to watch it all unfold!
